Student Assistant in Embedded Software Engineering (m/f/d)

Your task

As a working student Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the further development of the company’s own products. As part of a team, you will develop architecture proposals and document them with the help of suitable tools. The high security requirements for our product will always determine your thoughts and actions.

Other aspects of your job are

  • Further development of the test environment
  • Testing and test automation
  • bug fixing
  • Processing requests as 3rd level support

Your profile

You are currently studying, for example, IT security, computer science, business informatics, mathematics or a comparable course of study. You either have initial professional experience or experience from private projects in modern software development. You also have knowledge in several of the following areas:

  • Willingness to familiarize yourself with complex systems
  • Initial knowledge of test automation with JUnit or other frameworks
  • Initial experience in the area of continuous integration, for example with Jenkins
  • First experience in working with Git, Ant and Gradle
  • Ideally initial knowledge of smart cards, PKI and cryptography
