TECHNICAL CONSULTANT CITIZEN ID (M/W/D)

Your role

As a Technical Consultant, you will advise our customers on the use of our products and support them in gathering requirements. You will develop solution concepts and architectural proposals—always with a strong focus on security—and implement them together with the team for our customers and partners. This primarily includes requirement analysis and the design of sovereign eID solutions, from electronic identification documents to PKI and complete system integration.

As the primary liaison to our customers and project partners, you will act as the interface between customer projects and our product development team. You have experience in setting up system landscapes and are capable of ensuring quality assurance for the overall solution based on these systems.

Your Profile

You bring proven experience in a customer-facing technical role. A technical degree or vocational training (e.g., in IT) is beneficial but not mandatory. Additionally, you have a quick grasp of complex topics.

Some of the following skills and experiences would further enhance your profile:

  • Experience in requirements analysis, conceptualization, and implementation of system integration projects, preferably with a focus on cryptographic solutions, such as Public Key Infrastructures (PKI) and electronic identities
  • Ideally, experience in sovereign eID projects, e.g., electronic ID documents, personalization solutions, biometrics, ID verification, or mobile ID solutions
  • A team player with analytical skills, goal orientation, strong communication skills, and in-depth IT knowledge
  • Confident presenter in both German and English; additional language skills (e.g., French, Spanish, or Arabic) are a plus but not required
  • Ability to adapt flexibly and professionally to multilingual and multicultural project environments
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 20%) for on-site customer project support
