JUNIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER IT SECURITY (M/W/D)
Your role
As Junior Account Manager IT Security, you will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships using challenging and solution-oriented sales strategies. The main objective of your job is to excite customers from industry and public authorities with new perspectives and our innovative solutions – for example solutions for e-mail and file security, electronic identity solutions (eID) or public key infrastructures (PKI). Other aspects of your job are:
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
- Solution-oriented sales by analyzing customer problems and proactively developing appropriate solutions
- Showing customers new perspectives and presenting alternative solutions
- Market analysis by researching and identifying potential customers and markets
- Structured tracking of sales potentials
Your profile
You may already have some experience in sales or in customer-oriented roles (e.g. customer service, internal sales, consulting) – possibly through internships. You also have a technical understanding – ideally even in the areas of IT security, digital identity solutions, digital signatures, secure e-mail infrastructure, public key infrastructure or electronic ID cards. In addition, some of the following points complete your profile:
- An apprenticeship or degree, e.g. in the fields of business, STEM, communications, technology, is an advantage, but is not required
- Ability to analyze customer needs and create data-driven argumentations
- A confident presence and the ability to convince even experienced customers with new ideas
- Curiosity and interest in continuous learning about products, markets and customers
- Resilience to embrace setbacks and challenges as part of the growth process
- Initial experience in working with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) is an advantage
- Confident handling of the MS Office products Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Interest in new technologies and innovative and digital sales approaches
- Willingness to travel (about 30 percent of the time)
