KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER PUBLIC SECTOR (M/F/D)

Your role / tasks / responsibilities

As Key Account Manager Public Sector (Germany) you will be responsible for the distribution of our IT security solutions. These include solutions for e-mail and data security, strong authentication and Public Key Infrastructures (PKI). You will not only be responsible for acquiring new customers in the public sector, but also work with existing customers to develop new business potential. Your main task is to market our (electronic) identity solutions. As a member of a motivated team, you will present and establish our high-quality solutions, especially in the German public sector market. The cryptovision sales team is responsible for the entire customer process: from tenders, to the sale of software, services and hardware and to ensure customer satisfaction. As the central point of contact for our customers and partners, you will represent cryptovision at on-site appointments, in calls and at conferences and trade fairs.

Your profile

You have experience in sales and have adequate references. Your sales experience ideally includes IT security and digital identity solutions, digital signatures, secure e-mail infrastructures, public key infrastructures or electronic ID cards. In addition, some of the following points round off your profile:

  • A (business) education or degree, e.g. in the fields of mathematics, science or economics, is an advantage, but not required
  • Strong network in the public sector and experience in a public authority environment
  • Confident written and oral presentation skills in German and good English skills
  • Negotiation skills and experience with contractual issues in connection with software licensing and service contracts (e.g. German EVB-IT)
  • Independent and success-oriented way of working
  • Experience in dealing with forecasting and reporting
  • Confident dealing with decision-makers, persuasiveness, organizational talent and strong communication skills
  • Experience in association and lobbying work
  • Willingness to travel (about 30 percent of the time)
