As wireless network security has a major impact on communication technologies, Bouygues decided to drive the development of its 45/5G infrastructure. Driven by 3GPP standards (TS 33.210, TS 33.310, TS 33.401), 4G and 5G antennas and gateways must be secured by implementing PKI technology.
Bouygues wanted to meet these international standards by upgrading its existing system and distributing digital identities to antennas and gateways.

Its core and RAN systems are equipped with electronic certificates that comply with the latest international standards and are distributed via special automatic issuing protocols (CMPv2).
